Your data, plainly.

Who I am
This site belongs to Cristian Thomas, photographer and filmmaker. For anything about your data, write to cristian@higherlevel.space.
This site
The site has no forms and no user accounts. To understand which pages are visited and to improve them, I use measurement tools:
- Vercel Web Analytics counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.
- Google Analytics measures visits and taps on the contact buttons. It uses cookies.
- Microsoft Clarity shows heatmaps and anonymous recordings of how the page is used. It uses cookies and masks anything you type.
Cookies of its own
The site has three designs and shows you one of them. So that you always see the same one, it stores these cookies in your browser:
- ct_v: which design you see. It lasts 30 days from your first visit and holds no personal data.
- ct_s: how the design was picked on this visit. It is deleted when you close the browser.
- ct_lid and ct_seg: only if you arrived from one of my emails. They hold a reference number for your business and its type, so I can tell which email your message answers. They last 30 days.
When you write to me from the site, the message or subject carries a short reference such as “Ref B-8812”: the design letter and that number. You can delete it before sending.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the site works the same.
My emails
If you received an email from me, it is because your business publishes its professional contact details (for example on its website or in public directories). I use those details only to propose work related to your business, on the basis of legitimate interest.
Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also reply “no” and I won’t write again.
Your rights
You can ask me at any time what data I hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted, by writing to cristian@higherlevel.space. I reply within a reasonable time, in line with Costa Rica’s Law 8968 and, where it applies, the EU GDPR.
